The newly released Overexposed Cabernet Sauvignon continues to outshine its competitors as it collects another accolade at a prestigious industry tasting.
Australia’s highest circulating and respected industry publication, Drinks Trade, rated the Overexposed Cabernet Sauvignon a whopping 91 points, in a recent blind tasting conducted by industry experts, including a senior wine show judge, wine educators and a cellar director.
They were impressed by its character which was described as “bright red fruits, full bodied, with blood plum, and lifted black berries. Herbal finish with hints of liquorice.”
Up against Cabernet Sauvignons at much higher price points, the $12 Overexposed met the competition head on. It was awarded the same number of points as a market leading brand, which sits on shelf at a $50 RRP.
Overexposed Cabernet Sauvignon has already received high praise from Huon Hooke, the leading Australian voice on wine, who awarded the varietal a Bronze Medal and Top Value award.
Kollaras Marketing Manager, Georgia Kollaras, commented “Overexposed is a focus brand within the Kollaras portfolio that overdelivers on taste, quality and value. The range is extremely versatile and highlights the exceptional wine partners, who produce on a world-class scale. “
Overexposed Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in Victoria’s renowned wine region, King Valley. This cool climate region is notably one of the highest altitude grape growing regions in Australia.
This award-winning brand is available at all leading independent liquor retailers nationally including Bottle O, Cellarbrations and IGA Liquor in the following range:
